This was a fun little still life I did in acrylics on canvas. My inspiration was when I noticed the cat salt shaker had a sort of mesmerized look on its face in the glow of the olive oil bottle that seemed to loom over it. "The things that go on in our kitchen..."
This.... what you see right here, and what I do behind the scenes when I paint, draw, sculpt, and create anything.. in any fashion, is who I am. It's the inner most part of myself that seems to truely bring me to life. My work needs improvement.. it always will, but it's a part of me and it changes and grows as I do. I love art and this creative feeling that is inescapable, just as I love life itself. (more to come....)
